Through long and short-term one-to-one support, drop-ins and group activities the Recovery Service aims to:

  • Facilitate the identification of your personal aspirations and goals
  • Consider with you the steps you need to take to reach your goal
  • Empower and assist you to reach your goals, and offer support with maintaining your recovery

One-to-one Support

We offer one-to-one support in both the short and long term. We offer short term support through our Information and Support service and in the longer term through our Befriending and Mentoring services.

“I have lots of appointments to attend, due to my mental health condition I sometimes forget what has been said at consultation. My worker comes with me and I can check things out with her later, I trust her and we go for a coffee in between appointments, it makes life easier for me” “I have been a volunteer with the recovery project for approximately 12 months as a volunteer. I have supported 4 ladies at college on various short courses such as healthy eating, colour me confident and beauty on a budget. The experience is rewarding to see the ladies grow in confidence and we have all made new friends and learned new skills”
