Introduction to Life Skills

Sometimes, when we fall into a rut, it seems there is no tangible reason why or how it has happened. It can seem very easy to fall into a rut but difficult to get out of one. A whole host of smaller problems may have built up and it can be hard to chip them away because of feeling overwhelmed.

To help beat the daily struggles that we can all face, we offer three different Life Skills Courses. Each course will help you to target problem areas of your life and, once you start implementing the things you have learned, you will see the changes.

Living Life to the Full

This course, based on the Five Areas model of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), has been designed to arm you with the knowledge and skills required to deal with your daily problems in a more effective way. This course will help you to feel better, happier and more in control of your life. There are 8 weekly sessions of 1.5 hours. Due to limited places – registration prior to the start of the course is essential.

Six Ways of Wellbeing

The good news is that you can actually learn how to be happier – and, as a result, live longer and more satisfying lives. A large part of our happiness is down to the things we chose to do with our time and our general attitude to life. The Wheel of Wellbeing describes the things that make you feel good in yourself and displays the 6 paths to attaining wellbeing in an easily readable and understandable wheel format.
