Job Opportunity - Complex Case Worker

Posted on: Monday, October 26, 2015

We are looking for a Complex Case Support Worker to walk alongside and support people who come to us for help with issues that are impacting on their lives and wellbeing.

The role sits within our Recovery Service, which provides a range of activities and services designed to offer support at all stages of someone’s recovery journey.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to someone’s life, offering person centred support to find solutions to the problems that they are facing.

We are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to providing good quality support to adults living with a mental health condition.  You will have a good understanding of the impact of mental health conditions on people’s lives, the ability to work to recovery principles and a non-judgemental attitude.   We are a small, close team that works closely together and so team working is a must!

Applications must be received at the BAND office by 12noon on Wednesday 11th November 2015.  LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED

Manchester Pride Parade - Planning Group

Posted on: Thursday, June 4, 2015

Major changes in legislation and attitudes during the past twenty years have meant that society is shifting for the better. However, many lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people still experience difficulties which can impact on their mental health and well-being.

We would like to support further change and are looking for people to join us to make those hopes a reality.

We are taking a float to the Manchester Pride Parade 2015 to raise the profile of our project.

Would you like to help us??

The Parade theme for this year is 'Devotion'.

Come and join our planning group!
