    "Awareness" Training Courses-training aimed at raising awareness and understanding of Mental health from a service user perspective. All courses are designed and delivered by service users. Includes:

  • 1 day induction course aimed at viewing Mental Health services from a user Perspective. for delivery to all new staff at Bolton.
  • Variety of courses for delivery to all levels Primary Care staff including 1 day General course and half Day courses Communication & Listening Skills , Anxiety and Depression, Post natal Depression and Personal Stress Management.
  • Greater Manchester Police - Custody Sergeant Model course.

    • Surveys/ Research/Questionnaires

  • Take place regularly covering both acute in-care and community.
  • Fourth C.P.A. Audit undertaken with encouraging improvement in Enhanced Care. Service User C.P.A. audit now on official audit calendar for Acute Care.
  • Service user Ward Environment Survey repeated with accent on single sex accommodation
  • Discharge Survey. Added to Audit Calendar for annual repeat.
  • Short Stay Survey
  • Regular audit surveys undertaken on wards both by request from Hospital and in response to issues arising through service users.
  • O/T Survey with both service users and staff
  • Risk survey - linked to K ward Refurbishment.
