Hi, welcome to Horwich drop-in. No referrals are needed to attend so anyone who experiences life and/or mental health problems is welcome. The drop-in is run in a very informal manner in a spacious, well equipped building. For a couple of quid we provide fantastic food made in our new kitchens and will cater for all diets. There are other people to get to know and things to do. Day trips and links to further recreational activities are provided, usually for a nominal fee or free if possible. In house activities include a writing group, a painting and drawing group, indoor games like pool and carpet bowls, table top games and quizzes. Bingo is banned!!!!!
We have links with other agencies and can help deal with a wide range of
problems. Confidentiality is always maintained and both staff and members
are very supportive of new members (and each other). Our drop-in is run by a
committee that all members are a part of, therefore everyone has a say in what
we do and how we do it. We shortly hope to be online with internet access for
all, for free.
