Friday Contact has been established for 17 years, for the first 15 years in the United Reform Church in Starkie Rd, then at 174 Tonge Moor Rd and now at St Augustine's.
Membership attendance at F.C. averages 25 each Friday with Member's popping in for a brew or staying for the day between the hours of 9 and 3.
Our aim at Friday Contact is to get out and about at least 4 times a year on day trips.we recently went to cheshire to visit a craft workshop and ice cream farm which was attended by 28 Member's. Seaside visits are also popular and the Christmas period at F.C. brings about our party season and usually a trip out for christmas lunch at a venue chosen by the Member's.
