Family Support Group
If at least one parent of guardian experiances mental healh problems and there children of school age or under in the family then the family suport group. The Family Support is a group that meets every monday during scool holidays at the YMCA, which is at 125 Deansgate, Bolton; (opposite the Central Post Office.) The drop-in is open between 10am and 3pm. We hope that parents will be able to meet with others of similar circumstances in a safe, supportive and friendly enviroment where children can be catered for.
Best of all, days out are arranged for the whole family, every wednesday during school holidays.
The Family support is a developing group and any ideas you may have on how to make the school holidays more fun and less hard work will be eagerly listened to.
We offer support for life's problems with confidentiality.
Guests give talks and information on subjects that are helpful in everyday life, changes, which may affect you or of special interest.
