Community Development Workers

Community development workers will work with and support black minority ethnic communities to build capacity within themselves. We will work to ensure the views of the minority communities are taken into account by the statutory sector during both planning and delivery of services.

  • Helping to raise public awareness of self care and mental health.

  • Working in partnership with commissioners, service providers, service users, carers and community representatives.

  • Respecting diversity and practicing ethically.

  • Identifying your community issues, needs and problem.

  • Evaluating and monitoring excisting mental health services.

  • Facilitating culturally appropriate assistance and theraputic.
